Stephanie Kusibab
Strategist & CEO
Stephanie Kusibab is an accomplished and versatile strategy consultant with more than twenty years’ experience delivering programs that accelerate growth and mission achievement for organizations ranging in size from start-ups to those on Fortune’s Global 500 list. Stephanie works with leaders of associations, professional societies, non-profit, and for-profit organizations to capture market opportunities, instill focus, build leadership capacity, enable mission achievement, and accelerate growth.
Prior to starting her own firm, Stephanie led the consulting team at SmithBucklin, where she led strategy and change management initiatives for client organizations across a wide variety of industries and professions, including healthcare, accreditation, technology, telecommunications, building products, retail, hospitality, professional services, manufacturing and transportation.
Previously, Stephanie worked in the for-profit sector as a marketing and business leader driving revenue growth for an international manufacturer. She also developed and institutionalized a global account planning process for an international bank, including facilitating meetings on three continents and across nine separate business units.
As a skilled facilitator Stephanie creates deliberate, structured interactions digitally and in-person, to help organizations tackle high-stakes conversations, mine diverse perspectives, generate new ideas, build stronger teams, and understand market opportunities.
Stephanie is a member of the international board of directors for the Association for Strategic Planning (ASP) and contributed sections on shared visioning, culture, facilitation, and teamwork for its Body of Knowledge 3.0. She also developed Essentiam’s FutureFirstSM strategic planning approach for non-profits to cost-effectively add futures thinking to their high-level strategy development.
When she is not working, Stephanie is a dedicated baseball mom and enjoys international travel and boating with her husband and teenage son.
Emily Hendershot
Strategist & Implementation Guru
Emily Hendershot is a results-driven Operations Strategist who partners with organizations across industries to maximize their impact and achieve their missions. She loves helping organizations strategize efforts, optimize operations, and build implementation plans to achieve results.
Emily has a successful history creating and executing initiatives to drive growth for global associations and technology user groups with membership targets from 500 to more than 125,000. By defining action plans and streamlining processes, Emily empowers clients to find the clarity and focus they have been looking for to execute on their strategic plans.
Prior to her work with associations, Emily developed national volunteer training programs for the American Cancer Society and led a disaster relief program for a nonprofit in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
Emily is a resident of Chicago and enjoys photography, travel, and Detroit Red Wings hockey.
